Sinopsis
El experimentado Comandante del Alabama, Capitán Frank Ramsey y el segundo Comandante, Teniente Coronel Ron Hunter se encuentran en mitad de un conflicto mundial. Embarcados en un submarino nuclear están amenazados por un nacionalista ruso desequilibrado que quiere comenzar la Tercera Guerra Mundial. Pero cuando reciben órdenes de lanzar sus misiles nucleares, ambos oficiales se enfrentan entre si al dudar de la legalidad de las órdenes y luchan por el control de la nave.
